Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and Governor Whitmer’s recommendation to cancel events of crowds greater than 100, the Board of Directors of Kids Without Cancer has made the difficult decision to move our 38th Annual Evening of Hope event from Saturday March 21, 2020 to Saturday July 18, 2020.
We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we must protect our guests, especially our pediatric cancer survivors from the risk of exposure to the virus. We all must do our part to minimize the risk.
We hope you understand and can join us on Saturday July 18, 2020 at Stroh River Place to support our much-needed pediatric cancer research. Your ticket purchases are protected and will be honored. We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise if any additional changes are required.

The most exciting endeavor in our 37 year history…… The doctors at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in collaboration with professors from Wayne State University approached Kids Without Cancer with a proposal to start our very own research lab. Our members unanimously approved $356,000 to fund the project for the next 10 years. The lab is located in the new Wayne State Integrative Biosciences Center (IBio). The “Kids Without Cancer Zebra Fish Research Initiative Lab” is capable of conducting up to six pediatric cancer research projects.
