The Board of Directors and members of Kids Without Cancer are extremely proud of these two Wayne State medical students for their accomplishments. They have set an example for all their peers to follow. For them to complete a Triathlon and raise over $2,500 for pediatric cancer research is considered going above and beyond.
We thank them from the bottom of our hearts and wish them well in their medical careers. We will never forget their contribution!!!
(BTW -It is never too late to contribute to their totals!)
Callie Bartkowiak and Kara Klomparens will be racing on September 12th at the “Sunrise Side Triathlon” with the goal of raising money for pediatric cancer research in Detroit.

With this is mind, Kara and Callie, current second year medical students at Wayne State University School of Medicine, want to raise money for a Detroit Based organization that supports ongoing pediatric cancer research efforts.
Kids Without Cancer is a local Detroit organization that has raised over $5 million dollars for pediatric cancer research www.kidswithoutcancer.org).
In committing to this triathlon, Callie and Kara are dedicated to raising as much money for this organization as they can before the race in September.
Their goal is to raise: $5,000 dollars
Funds raised thus far: $2,530!
