31st Annual “Evening of Hope” to be held on Sept. 7 at Hockeytown Cafe in Detroit, MI from 5:30-9:30.
Save the Date postcards have been mailed, but look for our formal invitations to be mailed at the end of July. This is the premier fundraiser for Kids Without Cancer. We are shaking things up this year with a looser format and an exciting new venue - Hockeytown Cafe. We hope you will be able to join us and help us to “Raise the Roof“! There will plenty of food and fun, so mark your calendar. Additionally, plenty of opportunities for donating or sponsoring are available.

Millionaire Party a Success!
From June 13 – June 16, volunteers for Kids Without Cancer worked the bank for the poker room at Doc’s Sport Retreat in Livonia. $1390.00 was made at this event. Thanks to Sue Sargent and all the others who put in the hours to make this possible. Great job everyone!

Community Choice Credit Union Helping Kids Without Cancer
Community Choice Credit Union has joined forces with Kids Without Cancer in the fight to find a cure for childhood cancer. This wonderful community credit union rolled-out a campaign to donate $25 to Kids Without Cancer for every new account opened during the months of October and November in 2011. The campaign was a huge success and $10,000 was raised to help Kids Without Cancer fulfill its mission to eradicate childhood cancer by funding research conducted at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Here is a message from Community Choice that was posted on the Kids Without Cancer Facebook page: “We really do appreciate the support from everyone! It’s the amazing organizations, like Kids Without Cancer, that do great work to solve the problems that affect our community. We are thrilled to provide a way for our members to help us Give Big to find a cure for pediatric cancer.”
